BROW LIFT (LAMINATION)
The Brow Lift “aka” Brow Lamination/Brow Lacquer/HD Brow is essentially a perm for your brows, which chemically restructures hair into a more sleek, uniform and desired shape creating fuller looking brows with results lasting 6-8 weeks. Some might describe it as a Brazilian blow out for your brows.
It is recommended to receive the lamination treatment every 8-12 weeks. The growth cycle of the brow hair is typically 3 months, to ensure the integrity of the hair, it is important to wait until the brow hairs have completed their growth cycle to receive another treatment. The typical rule of thumb is do not laminate over a lamination; this is a chemical process, the minimum time in between treatments is 4 weeks. If it is paired with microblading it must be done a minimum of 2 weeks before, or 6 weeks after.
BROW LIFT
A solution is applied to break down the bonds in your hair and restructure them into a new shape. A neutralizing solution is then applied to build the bond back to the new shape. A conditioning treatment is applied as the last step and must be left on for 24 hours.
BROW LIFT + TINT
Eyebrow tinting is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape, and define your brows. It will temporarily stain the skin for about 5 days and will last on the actual hair for 4-6 weeks.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
WHAT IS A BROW LAMINATION?
Brow Lamination is a non-invasive procedure and a semi-permanent solution for brows that lack shape or do not have symmetry; also where the hairs flow a different pattern or have areas where the hair is sparse. With lamination we realign the direction of the natural brow pattern to give you your desired shape: a fuller, fluffier and stylistic appearance with one simple and painless appointment.
WHO IS BROW LAMINATION FOR?
Anyone looking to improve the overall look of their brows, sparse brows, growing out their brows, not ready to commit to cosmetic tattoo/permanent makeup, unruly/coarse brows, stubborn or natural hair growth patterns.
WILL BROW LAMINATION AFFECT MY EXISTING MICROBLADING?
As long as the microblading has gone through its entire healing process (6-8 weeks), it will not affect the tattooed strokes. It will only take your already microbladed brows to the next level of greatness!
DOES BROW LAMINATION CAUSE DAMAGE TO BROW HAIR?
Brow Lamination does not cause any long term damage to the brow hair. Only high quality products that have been formulated to be gentle on the hair and skin are used.
DO DIFFERENT SKIN TYPES REACT DIFFERENTLY TO BROW LAMINATION?
Brow Lamination is great for all skin types! Oilier skinned clients might see a slight decrease in shelf life due to the excess oil production in the skin.
HOW LONG DOES BROW LAMINATION/TINT LAST?
Brow lamination lasts up to 8 weeks if proper care is taken during the 24 hours post procedure. Premature exposure to water, sweat, and/or steam can prevent the hairs from processing correctly. The growth cycle of the brow hair is typically 3 months, to ensure the integrity of the hair is well kept, it is important to wait until the brow hairs have completed their growth cycle to receive another treatment.
The tint will last about one week on the skin and about 4 weeks on the hair.
